The Young Nano Network is an initiative which started at October 8th 2010 during the Young Scientists' Workshop at VEGAS, University of Stuttgart, Germany.
The goal of the initiative is to get scientists together who are working with nano scale (mainly zero valent iron) colloids for in-situ remediation. The focus is mainly on young scientists (e.g.: M.Sc., Ph.D., PostDoc), hence the name Young Nano. But, of course also the older and more experienced scientific generation is more than welcome to join our network and share its experience.
Through this website a mailing list system is provided in order to have an easy accessible but still enclosed platform for sending emails to the whole community.
The mailing list system can thus be used to access a large number of people who are all in one way or another working in the same field. This will become especially useful if you want to get answers to questions of which you do not know to whom you should pose them or in which discipline you would have to look for the right answer.
